I received lots of gorgeous beauty bits for Valentines, but as I haven’t had a proper chance to review them yet, some of them are sure to be on next months list. Here’s what I’ve been loving this month.
The Body Shop Elderflower Unperfumed Eye Gel
I got this eye gel in my Body Shop calendar in December, but I’ve only recently started using it more. I was doubtful it would be as good as my usual eye gel from Boots, but this is amazing! I apply this under my eyes after waking up, and it does a fantastic job of cooling, soothing and reducing any puffiness. I couldn’t be without an eye gel, so I would definitely recommend this.
I’ve raved about how great Lanolips is before, as it’s a beauty must have for me. These lip balms are medically graded, so they don’t just stop your lips feeling dry on the surface, they work deeper to improve the condition of your lips overall. My favourite is the Lemonaid Lip Aid, which contains lemon oil to exfoliate away dead skin, as well as being a gorgeous smelling lip balm.
Max Factor Masterpiece Nudes Palette in 01 Cappuccino Nudes
I got this pretty eyeshadow set for Christmas, and over the past month I’ve used this at least twice a week. These shadows are great shades for everyday use, as well as being long wearing. I’ve found that I can create a lighter, smokey eye with these colours, that’s more soft and flattering for my complexion.
Nails Inc in Electric Avenue
I recently reviewed this nail polish and I absolutely love it! The colour is a stunning metallic silver glitter, that really catches the eye. It’s also incredibly fast drying, which makes me love it more. It’s not a long lasting polish, as I’ve found it chips pretty quickly, but it’s so gorgeous that I still rate this nail polish highly.
I enjoy Valentines Day, as it’s a time when there’s gorgeous heart patterned gifts out and it starts to feel more upbeat and cheery after a gloomy January. I had a lovely weekend away at a wildlife park with my partner and was treated to some wonderful beauty gifts, making it one of my favourite parts of February.
Let me know what you’ve loved this month.
