Another shopping haul! I bought some clothes which I desperately need, as well as lots of beauty items too! So here’s what I got.
The Boots Haul
Grounded Coffee Scrub in Coconut
This range of coffee scrubs has recently hit Boots and is massively popular. There are three scents to choose from, coconut, grapefruit and chocolate orange. This scrub is meant to help exfoliate skin, as well as reduce blemishes and improve the appearance of cellulite. Grounded also have a gentle range of coffee scrubs to use on the face and a chocolate orange lip balm that I’m lusting after.
Essie Starry Starry Night Nail Polish
Essie have just released their Retro Revival range to celebrate the brand turning 35 years old. Retro Revival features shades that were on sale in the past and I bought the much lusted after Starry Starry Night. It’s a midnight blue shade with flecks of glitter, and even though I know it’s different to the original 1997 release, it looked too gorgeous not to pick up. These nail polishes are limited edition, so be quick if you want to try them!
YSL Touche Eclat
I’ve tried many an under eye concealer, but I’ve always come back to YSL’s Touche Eclat. I actually buy this a shade darker than I need and mix it with another concealer to create the perfect shade and finish for me. This is one of my must have makeup items.
Collection Speedy Highlighter
At the present moment, I’ve never tried or owned a highlighter. I’m looking to invest in Becca’s one soon, but for now I’ll be trying Collection’s one. Not only is this highlighter super affordable, but from swatching it, it appears to be fairly subtle, so hopefully great for everyday use.
Soap & Glory All Is Calm and Just Bright Concealers
I bought two of Soap & Glory’s colour correcting concealers. I got All Is Calm which is a green concealer to tone down any redness and blemishes, and Just Bright, which is a purple concealer. Just Bright can be used all over the face to brighten up tired skin.
Seventeen Angled Eyeliner Brushes
I use angled eyeliner brushes to apply my brow gel and I’ve found these ones to be the best. These brushes are firm and a good size, so perfect for doing my eyebrows. What makes me love these even more is that they only cost £2.50 each, which is why I bought two.
Frizz Ease Serum Miniature Size
I haven’t bought Frizz Ease for quite some time, but I got this mini sized bottle to pop in my bag for any hair emergencies.
Johnsons Refreshing Face Wipes
Whilst I have been using micellar water a bit more lately, I still love face wipes. Johnson’s are my favourites as they feel gentle and don’t irritate my skin.
The Superdrug Haul
Makeup Revolution Ultra Contour Palette
This is the first Makeup Revolution item I’ve ever bought. I picked up this powder contour palette which is only £8, but in my opinion looks worth more. As well as a range of contouring powders, this set also has two marbled highlighters, so I can’t wait to try it out.
Freedom Pro Correct Palette
Freedom is a makeup line from the creators of Makeup Revolution, so a lot of the products look fairly similar. Despite already buying two colour correctors in Boots, I bought this creamy colour correcting kit as it was only £5.
B. Makeup Brush Cleanser
So I already got the brush cleansing wipes from this brand, but after hearing good things about this spray cleanser, I had to get it. This spray requires no water to clean makeup brushes, which is why it appealed to me, as I hate waiting for my brushes to dry.
Superdrug Blending Brush
I got this brush to blend in my concealer and colour correctors. I’m not spending much on makeup brushes at the moment, as I want to purchase a good quality set of brushes in the future.
The Kiko Haul
Kiko Ultra Glossy Stylo Lipsticks in 802 and 803 and Colour Sphere Eyeshadow in shade 12
For Easter I was treated to a few pieces of makeup from Kiko, and whilst I’ve not tried them yet, I decided to expand my collection. I bought two of the glossy lipsticks as they feel hydrating. I got 802 which is a nude and 803 which is a soft pink.
I got a colour sphere eyeshadow for Easter and they are so gorgeous I got this purple shade. What I love about this colour is that there’s gold running through the purple, so it’s a beautiful, multi-dimensional shade.
The Lush Haul
I popped into Lush to buy the Intergalatic bath bomb as I’ve heard a lot about it recently. I bought this not for the scent, but for how it should make my bath look after using it. Intergalatic fizzes away to leave bath water looking like a galaxy, so I’m looking forward to trying this.
I also got another Humpty Dumpty bath bomb from Lush’s Easter range. I’ve not used up the one I’ve already got, but I couldn’t resist getting another one.
The River Island Haul
I’m in desperate need of clothes, as I spend way more on makeup than I do clothing. River Island has some lovely clothing at the moment, so I bought three items. The first piece is this gorgeous white top. I love boho/hippy style clothing and I think this floaty top will be perfect for summer time. I love the attention to detail including the tassels at the side of the top.
These next two items were really hard to photograph as they’ve creased up and don’t look too impressive hanging up. When on, both these items are super flattering and look great worn together. The top is a tight fitting, comfortable fabric with pretty lace detailing, and the skirt is a slightly high waisted style, that isn’t too short.
Dorothy Perkins
I got this beautiful red dress from Dorothy Perkins, as it’s a vibrant colour that’s perfect for the warmer weather. The cut of this dress is flattering as it skims over the stomach, and as it’s not too short it can be worn casually or dressed up.
Primark
I don’t venture into Primark often, but I do always buy my tights in there as they seem to be better quality. I also picked up a pair of black pumps as Primark’s shoes are super soft, which is great for sensitive feet like mine.
Holland & Barrett
Holland & Barrett is another shop I don’t go to often, but I should as I always end buying something there. I got these vegetarian mini marshmallows to put on top of hot chocolate.
So that’s my shopping haul. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products.
Woohoo! Shopping spree!✨🛍 Lucky you! 💗

Oh my goodness I love everything you’ve hauled. That red dress is so cute and that coffee scrub looks amazing. I’m on the cheap brush bandwagon just now too – you just get so much more for your money and I don’t believe they don’t last as long as more expensive brushes. As long as you look after them they stick around for years!

Thank you☺ I love a red dress, it’s a great item to dress up or down. I really can’t wait to try the coffee scrub, I’ve heard it’s meant to be great. I don’t think I’ve ever spent much on brushes, other than my powder foundation one I’ve had for years. I might buy some more expensive ones in the future, but I can never bring myself to spend too much on brushes☺ x

I do love the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush but I’m increasingly thinking that the Blush Brush was a waste of money. It is just so floppy and imprecise. I’m looking for a couple of new dresses for the spring and summer so I might check Dorothy Perkins out.

Oh no. A lot of the contour brushes I see look too soft and floppy too. Dorothy Perkins and River Island have a lot of nice clothes out☺ x

I love looking at UK drugstore goodies! The Soap & Glory correctors look really good and I like the name: Kiss Ass – haha!
And oh man, I would buy everything in a Kiko store if I had access to it! I received some Kiko items in a swap and I’m smitten!
The River Island top looks very 70’s inspired, which is all the rage at the moment! It would look cute with a suede skirt, I bet.
That red dress looks amazing on you!

Thank you☺ I like looking at other countries goodies too. Haha Soap & Glory usually have pretty great names for their products.
Kiko shops have only recently opened in the UK, but I love how affordable their makeup is. The eyeshadows are great!
I love the 70’s/boho clothes that come out for summer. That’s all you see in shops over here in summer time☺ And thanks. I do love a smart red dress x

I haven’t tried the scrub yet, but when I smelt the scrubs in the shops, I liked the scent of this one the most. If I like this one, I would probably try chocolate orange next x

I have been seeing the coffee scrubs a lot lately. What I would like to ask is how do you keep it from clogging your tub? Some people even use their left over coffee grounds at home. I want to try but seems super messy!

I’ve only just started using the scrub, but it is very messy and there’s a lot of fine granules to wash away from the bath. I’ll be doing a post once I’ve tested it for a couple of weeks☺ x
