I was going to post this before going on holiday, but as I didn’t have time, here it is! I’ll also be doing a holiday haul of what I got when I was away soon.
The Superdrug Haul
Makeup Revolution Lipsticks in the shades Chic, Enchant, Scandalous Crime and Scandalous Depraved
I first saw Makeup Revolution’s lipsticks mentioned on other blogs and thought that Chic, which is a light pink with large glitter chunks, looked pretty. I picked it up as it was only £1, the same as all the lipsticks I bought.
Enchant is a pink with lilac and blue undertones, Scandalous Crime is a fuschia pink with cool blue undertones and finally Scandalous Depraved is a unique violet purple. I can’t wait to try these lipsticks out.
Sinful Colors-Kylie Jenner Trend Matters Nail Polish in the shade Karma
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, Kylie Jenner has collaborated with the brand Sinful Colors to release her own nail polish collections. Her second collection is called Trend Matters and I have the shade Karma, which is a pretty purple with accents of gold running through it. It’s described on the bottle as having a velvet, demi-matte finish.
L’Oreal Le Crayon Correcteur Concealer in the shades Ivory, Beige and Natural
I mention this concealer pretty often in my posts, as the shades work really well for my skin tone and skin type. My usual shade is Ivory, which is the lightest colour, but as I’m going on holiday I also picked up the darkest two shades in the hope I’ll get a tan.
As I couldn’t get some of the products I wanted in store, I ordered some more bits online from Superdrug.
MUA Wet Look Eyeliner, MUA Matte Black Eyeliner and MUA Precision Felt Eyeliner
One of my friends raves about these eyeliners and how long wearing they are, so I knew I had to give them a try. I got the Wet Look and Matte eyeliners which are both liquid liners and £2 each and the Precision Felt eyeliner, which cost £3.
Makeup Revolution Lip Lavas in Tremor and Shockwave
I’ve never seen these liquid lipsticks in store, so I was intrigued when I saw them on Superdrug’s website. For only £3 they look like dupes of the more expensive Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. As I’ve never tried Too Faced’s ones I can’t compare the two, but I look forward to trying these out to see the colour pay off and how comfortable they are to wear.
Tremor is described as a peony pink and Shockwave as a violet shade.
Lottie London Viva La V Festival Gems and Glasto Glam Festival Gems
I originally looked at Lottie London as I’ve heard their makeup brushes are great, but instead I ended up purchasing two packets of face gems. Whilst I have no plans to go to a festival this summer, I always like to have some face gems incase I decide to go for a boho look.
Lottie London Holi Henna Temporary Henna Tattoos
Another Lottie London item I didn’t intend to buy! I love temporary tattoos for summer, as it fits into the festival/boho look I like. These ones are a little bit different, as they’re henna inspired and they look really pretty.
The Urban Decay Haul
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Original
The last time I bought this eyeshadow primer, I was in my teens. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this primer as I sometimes find the formula a bit too dry. However, I’ve been trying samples of this lately, as well as other eyeshadow primers and I still think this one’s the best.
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in the shade Twitch
Urban Decay have recently released their Vice collection of a hundred different shades of lipstick in six different finishes. I picked up the shade Twitch, which is a lilac lipstick with cool undertones and it’s a cream formula. Twitch is a completely different shade to what I usually wear, as I tend to choose soft pinks, but this is a really unique and gorgeous shade, that I had to buy.
Pur 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation in Light/Clair
This has been my go to foundation for quite some time now. Not only does the range of colours suit my skin tone but the formula feels lightweight on my skin, whilst offering good coverage.
Asda nspa Professional Peeling Mask, nspa Warming Detox Mask and nspa Radiance Boosting Mask
Nspa is a range of face and body products sold in Asda and I picked up three of their face masks. The only one I’ve tried so far is the Professional Peeling Mask, which I love. This mask peels off better than any other masks I’ve used and leaves my skin feeling super clean, smooth and fresh.
The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gels
I had a free £5 voucher that I went in store to use and found out that I could get two of these shower gels for £6, so that’s what I did. This shower gel smells amazing in the bottle but it’s even better when you wash with it. It smells like freshly squeezed oranges, so I love this shower gel.
The Lush Haul
Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub
Like a lot of people, I absolutely love Lush’s lip scrubs and find no other ones can compare. My favourite is this Bubblegum scented one, which smells good enough to eat.
Lush Fizzbanger Bath Bomb
I’ve always loved Fizzbanger, but I’ve been so busy trying different bath bombs that I’ve not purchased this for ages. This smells like apple and cinnamon, so it has a warming scent and it also has popping candy that fizzles and cracks inside, hence the name.
Lush Dragon’s Egg Bath Bomb
This is another bath bomb that I love but haven’t bought for ages. It smells like jasmine and lemon sherbet and has a block of gold glitter inside, which is the Dragon’s Egg.
The Primark Haul
White Flower Sandals
I’ve been desperate to find a pair of white sandals to go with my summer outfits, but as I ran out of time, I quickly snapped these up. The flower detailing is delicate and pretty, and they were a really affordable price. I’m just hoping they’re comfortable for when I go on holiday.
Alice in Wonderland Makeup Bag
I first saw this mentioned by another blogger and I knew I had to get adorable makeup bag. Not only is it super pretty, but I love the attention to detail, such as the little clock on the zip.
So that’s my latest shopping haul complete. Let me know which bits you loved.
