July Favourites

July was a really busy and fun month for me. I went on holiday to Malta, had some great days out and went on several shopping trips. Here’s my July Favourites.

Malta

At the start of July, I went on holiday to Malta for the third time. I did a series of posts about it and had a really great time. I enjoyed the sunshine, ate amazing food and even fed a tiger!

Hyper Japan Festival

I visited the Hyper Japan Festival in London, for the first time in July. There was entertainment, traditional food and so many fantastic stalls, selling the cutest things. I’d definitely go again.

A Day at the Races

Me and my partner took a day off mid-week and had a lovely day out. We ate a fantastic meal at a place called Red Peppers, watched horse racing at Sandown, where I won money twice and finally watched the band Busted play at the end of the night.

The Body Shop Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome

Despite the rather deceptive name of this product, it’s a creamy bronzer as opposed to a highlighter. I use this in the darkest shade and it blends in perfectly on my cheeks, with or without a tan. It’s non-greasy, long lasting and as it’s summertime, I’ve been reaching for this product daily.

Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette

I didn’t reach for this highlighting palette as much in July, as I’ve been using softer, more natural highlighters. However, I’ve been meaning to put this in a favourites post for months now, so I’ve finally remembered to do it! I use the shades Hemisphere and Equinox the most, which are the purple and orange baked powders.

Sleek Brow Kit

I picked up this Brow Kit with fairly low expectations, but it’s amazing! It contains a brow wax, powder and brushes and I find even the tiny brushes work really well and are easy to use.

The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel

I love orangey scents, yet until recently I hadn’t bought a satsuma shower gel from the Body Shop in years. Now I’ve tried it again, I’ve fallen in love and bought several backups. It smells amazing in the bottle, but once you wash with it, it smells so much more fresh and citrusy, like freshly squeezed orange juice.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Shower Jelly

Soap & Glory recently released two different shower jellies and I can’t get enough of this one, which has a fresh, lime scent. It feels unusual and jelly-like when first applied to skin, but once it’s rubbed in, it becomes like a regular body wash.

Oreo Milk Chocolate Covered Biscuits

I picked up these milk chocolate covered Oreo’s on holiday and they’re amazing. Chilled in the fridge, they just taste a million times better covered in chocolate than they do plain.

So that’s my July Favourites. Let me know what you’ve been loving.

    • The Body Shop bronzer’s lovely. I much prefer it to powder ones☺ I think Sleek have started overseas shipping, I’m not sure how much it costs though. Satsuma is an oldie but goodie. I like the classic scents like the strawberry too☺ x
