As promised, here’s the second part of my Very Large Shopping Haul. (For Part 1 see here).
NYX Retractable Lip Liner in the shade Sand Beige
A NYX counter has finally opened in the Boots near me and needless to say, I had to pick some bits up! The first thing I got is this retractable lip liner, which has a soft, creamy texture. The colour is a reddish brown, so it’s different to anything I already have in my collection.
NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in the shade Teddy
So far I’ve not found a NYX lip product that’s wowed me, but I’m still keen to try out more. This liquid lipstick is a dark brown colour, that’s deep and vampy for autumn.
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in the shade Milk
This has been on my to buy list forever! This eye crayon can be used as an eyeshadow, inner corner highlight or as an eyeshadow base/primer.
NYX Glitter Primer
I’ve started to add loose glitters to my eyeshadow collection, so I got this to hold them in place and to avoid fallout.
NYX Waterproof Eyebrow Primer
I picked this eyebrow primer up as it sounded interesting. You apply it on to bare brows and then apply your gel or powder makeup on top. It should help brow products become waterproof and survive heat and humidity.
NYX Eyebrow Gel in the shade Chocolate
Continuing with brow products, I bought this squeezy tube of brow gel. All the gel products I’ve tried have been in pots, so I’m intrigued to see how well this fares and if the Chocolate shade will work for me.
Seventeen Cheek & Lip Stain in Perky Pink
The Boot’s stores near me don’t sell Seventeen products, so I was pretty excited to find a stand whilst I was out. I love tints and stains for my cheeks as they’re long lasting and don’t look heavy or powdery on top of my powder foundation.
Barry M Flawless Mist & Fix Makeup Setting Spray Matte Finish
I decided to buy this makeup setting spray, as the L’Oreal one I’m using hasn’t impressed me so far. Barry M sell two finishing sprays and as I have combination skin, I opted for the matte finish spray.
Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish in Fairy Tailor
Essie’s most recent launch is their Gel Couture range, which claims to have a shiny, gel like finish and to last for up to fourteen days. The first shade I got is Fairy Tailor, which is a soft, nude pink that’s ideal for everyday wear.
Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish in Model Citizen
The second shade I got is Model Citizen, which is a warmer, purple toned pink.
Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish in Sit Me in the Front Row
The final coloured polish I got from Essie is Sit Me in the Front Row, which is a warm raspberry shade.
Essie Gel Couture Top Coat
I also picked up the top coat from the same range. Whilst any top coat could be used for shine, I got this to see if this helps the nail polishes last for up to two weeks.
Nip + Fab Viper Venom Anti-Ageing Eye Gel
This has been one of my go to eye products for quite some time. I apply this underneath my eyes morning and night and I find the roller ball design soothing and that it helps with fine lines.
Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme
Boots had a two for twenty pound offer on all Nip + Fab items, so I added this to my basket. These pads only need to be used as a weekly treatment, but it promises to revive tired and dull skin and unblock pores.
Benefit Do the Hoola Set
I already own the Dandelion Wishes set that Benefit do, so I decided to also try out this bronzing kit. It contains a lip gloss, mascara, powder bronzer, liquid bronzer and a lip balm. I’ve only ever tried the mascara that comes in this set, so I’m looking forward to trying out the other products.
Benefit Rockateur Lip Gloss
This lip gloss is described as a rose gold shade, but to me it’s a gorgeous deep berry pink from swatching it. It’s a darker colour than I usually wear, making it ideal for autumn.
Kiko Glitter Eyeliner in the shade 01 Multicolour
I love all things sparkly, so this eyeliner caught my eye. It has a white base, with multi-coloured glitter on top.
Kiko False Eyelashes
I haven’t used false lashes in quite some time, but I bought these as they should add a more natural fullness once blended into my own eyelashes.
Make Me Beautiful Perfect Finish Powder Brush
I only realised that Next sell beauty bits when I was last in store. I picked up this large, soft looking powder brush.
Make Me Beautiful Perfect Look Chubby Eye Shader Collection
I also got this set, which contains five chunky eye crayons. The pigmentation when I swatched these at home wasn’t great, but I’m hoping they’ll work better when I use them properly.
Lush Monster’s Ball Bath Bomb
This bath bomb is one of Lush’s new Halloween specials. It has a rose and neroli scent and I can’t wait to use it after seeing videos online. Monster’s Ball fizzes away to reveal different colours and the ‘eye’, which is made of cocoa butter, floats on top of the water and dissolves last.
Fruits Rhubarb & Vanilla Shower Gel
Wilko’s own range of shower and body products are affordable and pretty great, so I got this shower gel. It smells sweet but not sickly and has the warming scent of spiced rhubarb.
Essence The Gel Soft Matte Nail Polish in shade 47
Probably the less said about this nail polish the better! I picked this up not realising it had a matte finish, but as I love Essence’s other gel polishes, I still had high hopes for this. The formula was incredibly thick and gloopy and never seemed to dry. I tried to thin the product out, but I’ve ended up throwing this away.
Essence I Love TRENDS The Metals Nail Polish in Rebel At Heart
I love metallic looking nail polishes, so I got this one as it’s a sparkly, grey/black.
Maxfactor Max Effect Mini Nail Polish in Dazzling Blue
Wilko’s had offers on Maxfactor’s Mini Nail Polishes, so I got this one. To describe it just as a blue colour is incorrect, it’s a mermaidy turquoise, with blue and green tones running through it.
Essence Sheer & Shine Lipsticks in I Feel Pretty and BFF
(First two pictured)
These lipsticks are sheer and reasonably glossy, with a subtle hint of colour. I Feel Pretty is more of a pinky red, whilst BFF is a rosy, warm pink.
Essence Long Lasting Lipstick Barely There!
(Last one pictured)
This Long Lasting Lipstick is a creamy formula, with a slightly better colour pay off than the Sheer & Shine ones. Barely There is a warm, pink brown shade.
Swatches L-R (BFF, I Feel Pretty and Barely There!)
Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in Life Is Sweet
For such an affordable lip gloss, I love this! The colour is a soft rose pink, that’s comfortable to wear and a super flattering shade.
Yes Style Haul
Berrisom Oops Tint Cheek Cushions in Sugar Pink and Cream Peach
Yes Style had offers on quite a while back and I was lured in by these blushes. I love cheek tints as they feel lighter on my skin and tend to have better lasting power. Both shades are light pastels, more suitable for spring time than now, but they were too gorgeous to pass up.
Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in Juicy Peach and Juicy Apple
These were on my radar long before I bought them and the packaging is just adorable. As these lip crayons are glossy and sheer, the colour pay off is fairly subtle.
Juicy Peach is a soft pink/peach and Juicy Apple adds a pretty pop of red. Both are incredibly comfortable to wear.
Etude House My Beauty Tool Oil Control Paper Pact
These blotting papers and compact are by far my favourite out of any I’ve tried. Not only is the compact cute and stylish, but the sponge has a sticky back that picks up the blotting papers, allowing for a more precise finish.
Litfly Makeup Brush Cleaner
I picked up this compact brush cleaner to encourage myself to clean my brushes more often.
Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask
I’d heard a lot about this face mask and with such a fun name, I had to get it. All I can say is this is such a unique face mask. I’ll do a full post on it in the future.
Tony Moly I’m Real Red Wine Mask Sheet Pore Care
I’ve been enjoying using sheet masks lately and this red wine one from Tony Moly sounded that bit different. As I get blocked pores, I’m keen to see if this works.
Etude House New I Need You Aloe Sheet Mask and Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask
Etude House’s Tea Tree sheet mask impressed me, so I bought two more masks from the New I Need You range. The Aloe mask is good for moisture and soothing skin, whilst the Hyaluronic Acid is great for moisture.
Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask in Strawberry
The final thing I got from Yes Style, is this strawberry sheet mask. I love anything fruity and refreshing, which is why I got this.
QVC Babyliss Diamond Radiance Heated Smoothing Brush
It’s not often I buy heated appliances for my hair, but this looked super quick and easy to use. From trying it so far it straightens and smooths hair, whilst keeping the volume and adding shine.
So that’s my haul complete. Let me know which bits you love.
