October was a really great month for me, full of birthdays and celebrations. A lot of my favourites are activity based, but of course there’s some beauty thrown in as well. So here’s what I loved in October.
My Mum’s Birthday Celebrations at Harrods
Way back towards the middle of October, it was my mum’s birthday. Whilst my mum usually has a quiet celebration at home, this year me, my mum and brother enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea and shopping day at Harrods.
A Long Weekend in Brighton
Mid-October me and my partner spent a lovely few days in the seaside town of Brighton. We ate a tonne of delicious food, explored the quirky streets full of shops and walked along the Pier and beach.
Mine and my Partner’s Fourth Anniversary
Whilst we was in Brighton, we celebrated our fourth anniversary. As well as swapping wonderful gifts, we went on the i360 observation tower, had afternoon tea and a lovely dinner together.
My Boyfriend’s Birthday
Towards the end of the month, it was my boyfriend’s birthday. As it fell on a Monday, we spent the weekend before celebrating in London. We stayed in a luxury apartment, visited the Tower of London and ate a meal with amazing views in The Shard. I’ll be doing a full post soon.
This year I started my Halloween celebrations early. The weekend before Halloween I carved pumpkins with my family, made pumpkin face masks and decorated the house.
On Halloween itself, my partner and I spent the day exploring London and ate some wonderful sweet treats at the Dominique Ansel Bakery.
Lush Monsters Ball Bath Bomb
This is one of my favourite ever bath bombs from Lush. Not only is this Halloween special super cute, but it smelt great and was moisturising too.
Essence Sheer & Shine Lipstick in 03 BFF
I wore this lipstick a lot throughout October. Not only is it a flattering rosy pink but it feels comfortable and glossy to wear, which I love.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
I own a tonne of books, but sadly I’ve not had much time to read any the past year. However, I made time to read Me Before You and couldn’t put it down, I enjoyed it so much. I have the follow up book After You, which I’ll start reading soon.
So that’s my October Favourites. Let me know what you’ve been loving lately.
