As I say every month, where has the time gone?! I can’t believe we’re over a week into December. In November I enjoyed cosy weekends in rather than going out and found a few new beauty items I love. So here’s my November favourites.
Firework Night
Way back at the start of November it was Firework Night. It feels like ages ago already, but I went to watch a beautiful display with my partner and family, had sparklers and warming foods to eat.
Lazy Weekends In
November was a busy month for me and as it was cold out, me and my partner had more cosy weekends in watching TV and eating pizza.
Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Lovely Pink
I bought this blush way back at the start of summer and pretty much forgot about it. However, I recently dug it out and have been loving the soft pink shade and the gentle shimmer that runs through it. As my skin’s been looking a bit dull from the colder weather, this helps it appear brighter.
Zoella Vanilla Scented Lip Balm
I recently got the Zoella Lip Balm Duo as a gift and I particularly love the Vanilla scented one in the pack. It’s hydrating, glossy and the packaging is super cute.
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
I’ve been meaning to include this in my favourites for the past couple of months! As a girl with combination skin that gets very shiny, how have I gone so long without a setting powder?! This applies silky smooth, not cakey or drying and it really helps to control shine.
Nexxus Nutritive Shampoo and Conditioner
I recently did a post on the Tili beauty boxes that QVC does and in the first box I got a small bottle of Nexxus shampoo and conditioner. I absolutely love these as my hair feels smoother, less tangled and stays smelling fresher for longer.
Zoella Gingerbread Village Candle
As soon as autumn came around this year, I started burning candles to feel cosy on the colder evenings. I particularly love this gingerbread scented one from Zoella’s lifestyle range, as the simple design of the candle is classic and elegant. It also has the perfect gingerbread scent, as it’s not too spicy or too sweet.
So that’s my November Favourites. Let me know what you’ve been loving lately.
Time really does fly by so fast- all the holidays are zipping on through! I stilll lovee that blush color, so pretty!

I bought the Lovely Pink blusher a few days ago and wore it the last 2 days and really loved it! I love that its subtle because I’m so pale my skin can look a bit silly if my blusher is too bright.
I also really want the Zoella gingerbread candle since I saw it in one of her videos. I have her gingerbread hand cream and adore the smell xxx

It is lovely for fair skin, as it’s such a soft pink shade☺ I love all her gingerbread products, but the hand cream in particular smells amazing xx

November looks like it was a cozy and warm month for you. That sounds so perfect for this time of year! I’m with you, I would much rather spend cozy nights in than go out on the town. Thanks for sharing your November favorites!

The Zoella candle looks good, I bet it smells lovely too. Is the gingerbread scent the same as the gingerbread stuff in her beauty range? x

It does smell lovely. It’s similar but more subtle than the gingerbread range☺ x

Oh I see, I’ll have to keep my eye out for one as I really like the gingerbread perfume so I imagine a toned down candle version would be great 🙂 x

I’ve heard so many great things about the Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes! I need to get my hands on them…
Hey! Are you interested in doing a makeup swap? I’m in Canada… might there be some North American goodies you want to get your hands on? Let me know! 😛

Yes that’d be cool😊 It is a nice blush. It has a bit of shimmer so it’s quite brightening but not too in your face. X

Great post. Love the blusher 🙂 I’m not a huge fan of face powder but the Laura Mercier one looks good as you say it’s not cakey. I take it it doesn’t make face look powdery? I have normal to dry skin but feel I’d still benefit from a powder so may have to try this. Yay for candles and cosy nights in, that’s what Autumn/Winter is for! X

Aaw thanks hun. I remember you have a different colour in this blush don’t you?☺ It’s not cakey or dry but I have combination skin. I use it under my eyes which is dry and it doesn’t settle in fine lines or look heavy even there. It is. I love being out and about, but when it’s cold and dark I like nights in too😊 xx

Yes I have two, Nude Mauve and Alluring Rose. They’re tooo nice. Lovely Pinks look so perfect for a rosy glow especially at this time of year, like you’ve just been out on a cold walk lol. Yeah, I think I’ll definitely try it then. Do you use primer? Yes I’m the same 🙂 xx

All the colours are really pretty aren’t they? I mighy have to get more😊 I do. I use Smashbox or the Body Shop’s one. I just alternate between the two. I like to get out December a bit more to do the Christmas markets😊 x

Yes they are stunning, I love how they are baked too. You should!! Oh smashbox are too good, but I’ve never used the Body shop! I’ve never been to a Christmas Market! x

The Body Shop’s one’s quite similiar but has more of a silicone texture than the Smashbox one. Whatttt? No way. You need to go😊 x
