Beauty Advent Calendars Days 6-9

I can’t believe it’s already day ten! As I’m away for a couple of days, I’m only up to day nine of my advent calendars. So here’s a look at what gifts I’ve got the past few days in my beauty advent calendars.

Tanya Burr 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar

Day 6

Upon opening up day six, I got the prettiest glitter nail polish in the shade Glitters and Gold. I love all things sparkly and glittery especially as we’re nearing Christmas. I’ve already used this and it’s great worn alone or as a glitter topper on top of another polish.

Day 7

Day seven I got a beautiful glitter eyeliner in the shade Ice Crystals. As well as loving the name of this product, this eyeliner is a really stunning silver. I’ve neglected my glitter eyeliners lately, but I’m sure I’ll be reaching for this loads the next few weeks.

Day 8

Day eight was another glittery makeup item. I received a mini glitter eye pot in the shade Snow Day. It’s such a gorgeous white and silver glitter. I can’t wait to use it!

Day 9

And finally, yesterday’s gift was a matte liquid lipstick in the shade Christmas Stocking. The colour of this is a warm and vibrant red, but as I’m not a lover of matte lip products I’ll have to see how I get on with this.

The Body Shop 24 Happy Days Advent Calendar

Day 6

On day six, it was a lip liner in the shade Pink Clover. I don’t use lip liners that often, as I don’t tend to wear lip colours that need one. However, this is the most beautiful, suits all shade of pink.

Day 7

Day seven was a pretty disappointing gift, a sharpener. Whilst it is useful and a good quality product, I was expecting something a bit better than this.

Day 8

On day eight I got a bar of coconut soap. I really like the smell of the Body Shop’s coconut range and this is a good sized product too.

Day 9

On day nine I opened my calendar to find a pair of tweezers. Again these seem like nice enough quality and of course are useful, but it’s just not an exciting item to get.

Look Fantastic Advent Calendar

Day 6

On day six I got the Monu BB Cream Illuminating Primer SPF 15. This primer is meant to be great for fighting ageing and protecting skin, as well as adding a natural glow and sheen to skin. As I currently have four primers to use up, I wasn’t too excited about getting this. I’m undecided on whether I’ll keep this or include it in a giveaway.

Day 7

On day seven I received a NUDESTIX Cream Lip + Cheek Pencil in the shade Whisper. I’ve never tried any of NUDESTIX’s products and this is gorgeous. I also love that it has a built in sharpener on the end.

Day 8

Day eight I got the REN V-Cense Revitalising Night Cream. This cream is great for hydration, smoothing fine lines and evening skin tone. Usually I’m not too excited by night creams, but this sounds great.

Day 9

And finally, yesterday I got an Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Serum. This is a serum that you apply on damp hair and it strengthens and conditions, as well as taming flyaways. I love Ojon’s hair products, so I’m really happy with this.

So that’s my roundup of what I got in my calendars the past few days. I’ll be posting again soon with what I get next.

  1. Tanya Burr’s calendar looks so good! Especially the glittery eye liner. Lol at The Body Shop sharpener, I can see why they put it in there as it’s practical especially with the lip liner the day before but I get why you wouldn’t be too excited by the product. The Body Shop calendar seems like it’s very practical! If I were to get any of these 3 I would definitely get the Tanya one next year. Looking forward to seeing your next advent calendar post 🙂 Hope you had a nice weekend away. Xx

  2. The glitter polish is so perfect and festive for this time of the year! So far, I’m thinking the Tanya Burr calendar has had the funnest beauty stuff.
Oooh that Nudestix looks amazing! I’ve not tried the brand but it’s a big deal at Sephora. One of the hot brands this year.
