At the start of December, I had a very busy weekend with lots planned. So here’s a look at what I got up to.
On the Saturday me and my partner had tickets booked to watch horse racing. I’ve mentioned going to Sandown race course before as it’s one of the nearest to where we live. It took us around an hour and a half to drive there and of course I took an obligatory selfie in the car.
As it was Tingle Creek, an important and big race day, it was a lot busier than usual but we managed to find a quiet area to take a few quick photos of my outfit.
And one of us together.
And then it was time to watch the races. The good thing about Sandown is that you can get right to the front and see the action close up. We won a couple of races throughout the day and whilst it was cold, it wasn’t freezing like December can be.
That said, I still took advantage of the free scarfs that were being handed out!
We browsed the indoor Christmas Market and drank mulled wine.
Before watching the final few races, as the sun started to go down.
Keen not to end our day just yet, we headed to one of our favourite places for dinner, Red Peppers.
I’ve mentioned before that Red Peppers do the best nachos and it was just as amazing this time. Whenever we’re in the area to watch the races or for anything else, we make sure to come here.
We followed up the nachos by sharing the ultimate chocolate sundae, which was huge and delicious!
And then it was time to drive home, ready for the next day’s activities.
On the Sunday, me, my mum, my little brother and my partner travelled into London to visit Madame Tussaud’s. Madame Tussaud’s is one of London’s top attractions and we was taking my brother there for the first time as an early birthday celebration.
As it was a Sunday and pretty close to Christmas, it wasn’t too busy. We started with some selfies with Justin Bieber.
Marvelled at my boyfriend’s likeliness to Russell Brand (hair wise).
A classic pose with Audrey Hepburn.
Before my brother made everyone laugh with Marilyn Monroe.
Doing the Mobot pose with Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis.
Some photos with my favourite YouTubers, Zoella and Alfie.
Before posing up a storm with a stormtrooper.
And a few more photos from the day.
After a fun filled day, we headed home ready for my brother’s birthday the next day.
As his birthday fell on a school day, we ordered in pizza, had some of his friends over and rounded off the day with a delicious birthday cake.
And that was the end of a busy but very fun few days.
The wax museum looks SO fun I’ve always wanted to go to one yet haven’t had an opportunity to. Totally adding that to my list of things I need to do lol I love how interactive it is, and how you can get up close and personal to it ha Also that chocolate sundae, yummm, I probably wouldn’t even had time to take a photo of it before I dug right in 😉 fun adventures!!!

I haven’t gone to watch a horse race in years! Looks like you had a good time.
Oh my gosh, I did not know that Zoella and Alfie had their own wax figures at Madame Tussaud! Wow, I guess you know you’ve arrived if you achieve that level of fame.
That photo of your brother with Marilyn Monroe is a gem that should be shown at his wedding! 😆

We did. We both enjoy horse racing, so I usually buy him horse racing tickets as a gift☺ I know it’s crazy! They really are big to have wax works. 😂 I have tonnes of funny shots of him. I’m not sure which ones to use first to embarrass him haha x
