As many of you know, I’m a huge lover of face masks and the crazier looking the better.
So when my partner bought me this Berrisom Horror Mask in the Pierrot Clown style, I was super excited to try it out.
Starting with the design of the mask, I have to say I loved how this mask looked on. So many sheet masks have poor designs or are ill fitting, but the clown design looked amazing (and scary) and fit my face well.
It wasn’t overally wet or soaked in serum, was comfortable to wear and didn’t irritate my skin whilst using it.
So what does it do?
This sheet mask makes a lot of big claims on what it can do, as you can see in the photo below.
The Pierrot design is a green tea mask that claims to sooth, moisturise, brighten, repair skin and heal wounds. So quite a list!
But did it work?
Yes and no. My skin definitely felt more hydrated and not just slightly like with many masks, but rather a lot more.
My skin also looked brighter and more glowing, but I can’t comment on whether it heals wounds or is good for wrinkles.
As for whether it’s soothing on skin, I’d say no. The next day I had several blemishes around my nose and on my cheeks after using this. The positive effects from this mask, such as hydration and brightening also didn’t last more than a few days either.
So would I repurchase? No. The effects weren’t amazing, but I did love the design of this mask as it’s scarier than most actual Halloween masks.
Let me know if you’ve tried any creepy face masks like this one.
