Our Fifth Anniversary & Gift Haul Pt.2

We started our anniversary off by heading downstairs for breakfast.

I opted for pancakes with syrup and my partner had a Full English breakfast. Yummy!

After eating we spent some time relaxing in bed together, exchanging cards and presents (featured at the end of this post) and relaxing in our beautiful room.

Before long it was time to shower and get ready for our couples spa day in the hotel.

Us in our robes.

It was my partner’s first ever spa day and he really enjoyed it!

We both had a hot stone massage and a facial in a couples room. I then had a pedicure and gel manicure, whilst my partner headed back to chill in our suite.

My gel nails.

And my pedicure.

After a wonderful afternoon of pampering, I headed back to our room.

The weather was crisp and autumnal, so we drank warming hot chocolate on our balcony.

We tried some of the white chocolate and jam sponge my partner got us.

And we made the most of feeling utterly relaxed.

After enjoying a wonderful, lazy day together, we drove to one of our favourite restaurants.

Red Peppers does the best nachos, so we always get a share portion each.

We also shared an ice cream sundae, (which I forgot to take a photo of!) and some of their delicious Posh Pops soft drinks.

After another delicious dinner at Red Peppers, we headed back to our hotel.

We spent the rest of the night lazing in bed, watching the film Grown Ups on TV and eating some of the snacks we had in our room. A perfect fifth anniversary spent together.

The Gifts

For gifts, I told my partner not to buy me too much, as we was heading to New York just a matter of days after our anniversary. We’d been saving as much money as possible to use for spending money, plus my partner said he’d take me shopping in the The Big Apple.

Despite me telling him to just buy me a few bits, he still was amazing as usual and spoilt me.
