It’s day 21 of my advent calendars and only a few days ’til Christmas! So here’s a look at what gifts I got in my beauty calendars.
Look Fantastic ‘Beauty in Wonderland’ Advent Calendar
On day sixteen I got the ModelCo Retractable Brow Pencil in Light/Medium. I tried this brow pencil out on my hand and the colour looks perfect for me.
I’m always keen to try new brow products and this one from ModelCo looks good.
The next gift I got in the calendar is the Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist. This multi-purpose mist can be used as a toner or to refresh and hydrate skin throughout the day. It also comes in a beautiful, weighted glass bottle.
On day eighteen I got a small tube of the Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this as it has so many uses. You can use it on dry lips, sore noses, dry patches, to condition your eyelashes, as a lip balm and of course on sore or cracked nipples. It’s a great all-round product.
The next thing I got is the Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Ultra-Moisturising Hand Treatment. I’ve been getting through hand creams pretty quickly now it’s turned cold, so this is handy to have.
Yesterday I got the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. This cream is meant to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and increase hydration.
Whilst this is meant to be a fantastic face cream, it is described as being best for ‘mature skin’. It’s still recommended for all ages as it’s a lightweight, hydrating formula, so I’ll still give this a try.
And today, I received this Magnitone Wipeout The Amazing MicroFibre Cleansing Cloth. You wet the cloth with warm water and it gently removes makeup, meaning you don’t need face wipes or micellar water.
I like the idea of these cloths, but I did try a similar one from another brand and I didn’t love it. I’m undecided on whether to give this one a go or save it for a giveaway.
Nordic Beauty Advent Calendar
On day sixteen I got the Lumene Nordic Chic Oil Fusion Lip Gloss in Red Harmony.
I thought this was going to be a bold red lip gloss, but it’s a much sheerer formula which is better for me, as I don’t often wear a bold lip.
The next gift I got is the Lumene Sisu Deep Clean Purifying Mask. This product is a exfoliator, cleanser and mask as it removes dirt and impurities, reduces the appearance of pores, exfoliates and contains antioxidants which protect skin against pollution.
All of this sounds good to me, so I can’t wait to try it.
On day eighteen I received the Lumene Lahde Purity Dew Drops Hydrating Eye Gel.
I’m super happy to have got this as I love eye gels! I use an eye gel every morning to reduce puffiness and make my under eye area feel more awake and refreshed. This one also reduces dark circles and hydrates.
The next item in the calendar is the Lumene Valo Glow Reveal Moisturizer. This face cream contains Vitamin C and Artic Cloudberry to brighten skin and add glow. It also has Pure Artic Spring Water for hydration.
Yesterday I got a Lumene Gel Effect Nail Polish in the shade Poetry, which is a really pretty light pink.
And finally, today I got the Lumene Waterproof Bi-Phase Eye & Lip Makeup Remover. This makeup remover is meant to gently remove all makeup, including waterproof products.
I haven’t tried a makeup remover like this for a while, so I’m looking forward to testing it out.
Let me know what your favourite calendar items are days 16-21.
