Last week me and my partner headed to the Vegan Nights food market in East London.
Vegan Nights is a monthly ticketed event, with tonnes of food stalls, a bar and DJs.
Here’s a look inside.
We spent quite some time wandering around, as there was so many stalls and a lot of choice.
Our first stop of the night was at the Pig Out stall, which sells vegan hot dogs. Whilst I’m not usually a hot dog fan, the German Dawg was out of this world good!
After sharing a hot dog, we queued at the super popular Biff’s Jack Shack, where we bought a Samuel Hell Jackson burger.
This burger did not disappoint. It was hot, spicy and delicious. My partner ranked this as his favourite ever burger, high praise indeed.
We also ate at Itis LDN, a Caribbean food stall. We tried the Trini Roti, which is a roti filled with curried vegetables.
It was nice enough but not my favourite food of the night, just because I prefer a spicier curry as opposed to the sweeter one in this roti.
The last savoury food stall we visited was Little Leaf Food, which sells pizza.
We had a regular Margherita and added mushrooms as a topping. The vegan cheese used was lovely and the pizza itself was great.
Our last stop of the night was at Vida Bakery. We’d visited the Vida stall at a different event and I wasn’t impressed by their sweet goods, however as they’re super popular I gave them another try.
As with last time the cake looked better than it tasted sadly.
After a super fun night we headed home, but we’ll definitely be back next month!
