Another super belated post, but there’s been quite a few things I’ve enjoyed the past couple of months, that I thought I’d still share with you. So here’s what I loved in January and February.
January
Day at Brick Lane
I live in East London anyway, but I’ve been spending a lot more time around Brick Lane this year. Me and my partner had a lovely day there in January, where we admired the street art and ate some great food.
Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo & Mr. Incredible The Ultimate Leave-In Conditioner
The YouTuber Fleur De Force often raves about Drybar’s products, so they was on my to-buy list for when I was in New York. If the products were cheaper I would have stocked up as I love them!
The dry shampoo extends my hair washing time by a couple of days, doesn’t look white and powdery and feels lightweight on my hair.
The Leave-In Conditioner is great for helping untangle knotty hair, as mine tangles a lot now it’s longer. As I’ve been on a couple of colder holidays where I’ve been wrapped up, my hair’s been matted and difficult, so this has really helped.
Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Pink Fondant
In the Tanya Burr calendar last Christmas, I got this lip gloss which I’ve used loads. It’s a beautiful, brown toned pink and the gloss itself is comfortable to wear.
Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish in Fairy Tailor
I don’t paint my nails very often, but in January I really loved this Essie nail polish. Fairy Tailor is a gorgeous and flattering sheer nude pink. It also lasted around seven days on my nails.
Me wearing Fairy Tailor on my nails.
Bath & Body Works Campfire Donut Candle
Bath & Body Works do the best candles in my opinion and I loved this wintery one. It smelt sweet, yet slightly smokey. I’m just sad to have finished it.
February
Holiday to Belgium
I don’t have to say too much on this one, as I’ve just done a whole blog series about my holiday to Belgium. We stayed in Bruges and Ghent and had a wonderful time seeing the canals, eating good food and visiting the Lichtfestival (Light Festival).
Our First Time at Vegan Nights
Vegan Nights is a now monthly event in Brick Lane, where there’s a bar, DJs and lots of amazing vegan food stalls. We had a great evening and have since been back.
A Foodie Day in Camden
Camden is one of my favourite areas in London for it’s shops, street art and great food. As we hadn’t been in a while, we had a lot of fun browsing and eating from the food market.
Valentine’s Day
Whilst we had a quieter Valentine’s Day this year as we both had work, it was still really lovely. We met up for lunch, cooked dinner together in the evening, exchanged gifts and went to the cinema.
Tarte Foil Finger Paints Shadow Palette
This is the first Tarte palette I’ve tried and I love it! The eyeshadows are super pigmented, easy to apply with your fingers and the colours are just gorgeous.
I also love the packaging of this palette as it’s stunning and compact for travel.
River Island Coat
My partner bought me this coat as a Christmas present and I’ve worn it non-stop. The colour is different to anything I already own and I love the faux fur collar.
So that’s all of my favourites. Let me know what you’ve been loving lately.
SO many great pictures! Girls I LOVE your nails AND that ring! Oh my lanta SO pretty! Those eyeshadows are also gorgeous. And I am now hungry from all your food pictures! ❤
