New Year’s Resolutions-June Update

This is offically my six month new year’s resolution update. So here’s how I got on in June.

1-Eat healthy and exercise

Tick! Throughout June I carried on using a personal trainer twice a week, as well as going to the gym. Even on holiday in Barbados, I was still active going swimming and walking lots.

I ate healthily, but relaxed my diet whilst I was on holiday.

2-Read more

As we had a couple of beach days, I finally had time to read and finish a whole book!

-The Man Who Didn’t Call by Rosie Walsh.

I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t wait to read on. It was a lot less dark than I initially thought it’d be, but it was good.

3-Do 2 new things per month


We visited Hopefield Animal Sanctuary and went to an outdoor cinema event for the first time.

Ate at Inamo Camden.

I had henna brows done.

We went on holiday to Barbados for the first time and did a lot of new activities whilst there, such as snorkeling.

4-Visit three NEW countries and three NEW cities (Any new towns or villages, or any extra countries and cities are a bonus)

We visited Barbados which was a new country for us.

We spent time in the capital city Bridgetown.

As well as visiting the town of Oistins and the village Bathsheba.

5-Try to use up what I have before buying more

Whilst I didn’t purchase any makeup, I did buy summer clothes and bits for Barbados. As I didn’t have many summer items that fit, I saw it as buying essentials.

Bonus Round

It was a busy month but in Barbados especially, I had ‘me time’. I read, relaxed on the beach and had spa treatments.
