At the start of the month, I went to the latest Vegan Nights event. Me and my partner have been several times before and it’s always such a fun night.
Vegan Nights is a monthly, ticketed event that’s held in Brick Lane (East London) and there’s great food, music and ethical beauty and homeware bits you can buy. So here’s a look at the July event.
As the weather’s been amazing the past few months, I wore my favourite summer dress from Emily and Fin and teamed it with a golden makeup look.
Once we’d arrived, we made a beeline for the CookDaily stall.
We got delicious summer rolls and the amazing teriyaki chicken.
The teriyaki was so good that we returned for a second portion!
After eating, we walked around to look at the stalls and to explore.
Usually the event is held inside a courtyard and adjoining buildings, but as it’s summertime a lot of stalls were outside, making it feel like a festival.
The theme was Las Vegan Nights, so it had an American vibe.
Whilst wandering around we saw Liam Payne from One Direction there, so I grabbed a photo and had a quick chat with him.
Then it was time for more food!
We ate risotto balls from one of my favourite stalls; Arancini Brothers (which I forgot to take a photo of).
Then we ended with some incredible vegan coconut ice cream from Froconut.
Topped with caramel sauce and honeycomb, this is the food of dreams.
After another fantastic night, it was time to head home.
The next event is held on 2nd August.
