Last week was the latest Vegan Nights. I’ve wrote about this event before, but here’s a little recap:
Vegan Nights is a monthly ticketed event in East London. There’s amazing vegan food, DJs playing music and stalls selling clothing and beauty products. So here’s a look at the night.
My golden makeup look for Vegan Nights.
The theme of the night was carnival and as with the last event, it was mostly held outside, giving it a festival feel.
Our first food stop of the night was at CookDaily, where we got some of his amazing teriyaki chicken.
If you visit just one stall at Vegan Nights, make it this one!
After savoury, it was time for sweet.
We got some delicious coconut ice cream with toffee popcorn and salted caramel sauce.
This was my second time eating from Froconut and it was fantastic again.
Taking a break from eating, we took some selfies.
Caught up with people we knew at the event and sat down to take in the beautiful setting.
Then we decided to try some more food!
We queued for Vegan Vice which was a new stall and incredibly busy.
Even though my burger looked amazing, I didn’t love it.
The taste wasn’t there and it looked too much like a regular beef burger, which put me off. My partner ended up eating his burger and mine!
After the disappointment of Vegan Vice, we decided to try one more stall; Ninety Degree Melt.
I tried my first ever corn dog from them and it was good!
As it was nearly 11pm, we walked back to the car to head home.
Street art along Brick Lane.
The next Vegan Nights is held on 6th September.
