Whilst I’ve been on a low buy lately where I’ve tried to purchase only things I really need; in September I got myself a few treats. So here’s a look at what I got.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer in 4 Fair
I’ve never had much luck with Charlotte Tilbury makeup before, but recently I had my makeup done by them in Selfridges and loved the look of some of the makeup.
I tend to go for a darker under eye concealer, as too light makes me look tired. In store this looked great on and so far it is working well for me, but in natural daylight it is a bit lighter than I expected.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in 2 Medium
Whilst having my makeup done I was super surprised that they used the medium shade on me; but in store my skin looked flawless and the powder looked pretty fair when I swatched it.
Since I’ve used this at home it’s sadly too dark and tends to oxidise even darker. I’ve since purchased the lightest shade online, as the powder itself seems good.
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush in Ecstasy
The product I’ve got on best with is this beautiful, peachy pink blush. It’s such a soft and gorgeous shade, but it can easily be built up.
Charlotte Tilbury Revolutionary Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask
I’ve used plenty of sheet masks, but I’ve never tried a dry, reusable one. This mask promises to brighten, hydrate, lift and smooth skin, so I can’t wait to try it.
A’PIEU Coconut Milk One Pack-Moisturising
Whilst in Selfridges I picked up a few other bits, such as this face mask. I tried the A’PIEU Banana Milk Mask a while back and liked it, so I decided to try another from the same range.
NEOGEN Dermalogy White Truffle Hydramax Knit Mask
This is another mask I’ve tried before and really enjoyed. It’s made from a thick, bandage type material and is really great at hydrating skin.
MAGICSTRIPES Wake Me Up Collagen Eye Patches
MAGICSTRIPES is a brand I’ve never tried, but I’m a big fan of under eye patches and masks. As well as cooling and reviving under eyes, these patches promise to hydrate, smooth fine lines and improve skin elasticity.
Missha Paraffin Heating Hand and Foot Mask
Missha is a new brand to me and I liked the ideal of a self heating hand and foot mask, but sadly both were disappointing.
The foot mask heated up better than the hand one, but neither was as I expected. I also feel like my hands and feet are even drier since using these.
Soap & Glory Call of Fruity Bubble in Paradise Refreshing Shower Gel & Call of Fruity Hand Food Hydrating Hand Cream
I saw this new Call of Fruity range in Boots and I absolutely love the mango and mandarin scent of these products!
I’m surprised this range has been released after summer, but I love a summery, fruity scent.
Whiskey & Ginger Pumpkin Spice Candle
Whiskey & Ginger is a small business that I stumbled upon at a vegan fair last month. Set up by a single parent who wanted a job that could fit around raising her young child, she started her own vegan, eco-friendly company.
This candle has a beautiful spicy scent that’s different to any other pumpkin candles I’ve tried. I also love that it has a wooden wick, which helps the candle burn more evenly.
So that’s everything I got. Let me know what your favourite items are.
I bet that candle smells amazing. I’ve never tried any CT products. That stinks that the first powder was too dark, but hopefully the second one works! I can tell from the photo that the powder is high quality. Xo

It has such an amazing smell, it’s a unique scent😊 The powder itself makes your skin look so smooth and flawless, it’s just a shame the shade was different in natural light. Fingers crossed the lightest shade works for me😊 x

I’ve heard such great things about that CT Airbrush powder – it’s on my list to try once I finish at least one more of my current powder stash. Too bad the original shade was too dark on you.
That Neogen knit mask is so interesting! I love the feel of it. Thank you for sending that to me! ❤
I like candles with those wooden wicks, they crackle like a campfire.

I’ve ordered the lightest shade so I hope it works for me, as the powder itself seems really good. Aaw no problem! It felt so thick and luxurious, I remember really liking it😊 I’ve never had a candle with a wooden wick but I’m extra excited to use it, now you’ve said that xx

She has a lot of really great looking products out and they all seem high quality😊 It is! I just dab a really tiny amount on with the sponge applicator😊x

The Charlotte Tilbury blush looks so pretty! The Charlotte Tilbury mask packaging is lovely, it’ll be interesting to hear how you get on with that mask being supposedly reusable. The coconut milk mask packet is cute too, did the banana one come in a carton shape too? Wooden candle wicks are something I haven’t seen before but make sense x

It’s such a pretty peachy pink blush, I’m enjoying using it😊 I’ll do a post on it hopefully, as I’ve never used a dry mask! Looks really interesting🙂 It does. They come in cute milk carton packaging. So sweet. I’ve never used a wooden wick before, but it burns all the wax evenly so there’s no waste. A lot of candles burn down the middle and leave the outside wax still xx

Peachy pink blushes are the most flattering 🙂 all candles almost need more than one wick, the big ones that have two or three tend to burn quite evenly I think x

I agree. I tend to go for peachy pink shades most of the time😊 Yeah they do. I like three wick candles, they burn better and the scent is better xx

I need to have a subtle scent, my nose gets irritated easily if it’s really strong 😦

Aaw no. Certain candle scents give me headaches too. I never used a peppermint one I got as it made me feel funny x

It’s not so much a headache but my nose gets stuffy and I sneeze.

Ahhh SuCH great find! I especially LOVE that candle! While I don’t like pumpkin spice lattes (what is wrong with me?!?! lol) I do love the smell! So fall-esque! ❤

Haha I hate pumpkin drinks and food too🙈 I’m quite fussy with pumpkin scents, but this has such a spicy (non-masculine) autumn/winter smell that is just gorgeous😍 x

It’s so unusual. It’s a really thick, bandage type material and it just feels more luxurious than normal sheet masks😊 It’s the first time I’ve tried a wooden wick candle but I’ve heard they’re great and this candle smells so good😊 x
