October was a month of celebrations; with birthdays, anniversaries and much more. I also started using gifts I got for my birthday (way back in August) and some have made my favourites. So here’s a look at what I loved in October.
Our 6th Anniversary
Mid-October me and my partner celebrated our sixth anniversary. We stayed at The Chesterfield Mayfair, which is just the most stunning hotel!
We had a gorgeous suite, complete with jacuzzi bath, rose petals, champagne and more. If you want a super romantic and luxurious stay, The Chesterfield is the place to go.
We also had a sweetshop themed afternoon tea in the hotel, went for dinner at Cantina Laredo the next day and watched Aladdin at the theatre.
The last couple of years, we’ve made pumpkin picking part of our autumn tradition. We visited Stanhill Farm in Kent for the first time and got several pumpkins, munchkin pumpkins and lots of fresh fruit and veggies from the farm shop.
Kate Spade Watch
I’ve wanted a Kate Spade watch for quite some time and instantly fell in love with the classic black, gold and pearl design of this one.
My partner got me this watch for my birthday and I’ve been wearing it loads, as it adds a sophisticated touch to most outfits.
Another birthday gift! Primark has some really beautiful bags and I feel that this one looks more expensive than it is! This bag has pretty sequin detailing and stitching, as well as a lion’s head bag closure. As it goes with most outfits and is a good size, it’s already seen a lot of use.
Tarte Love, Trust & Fairy Dust Palette
The final birthday gift to be mentioned in this post; is the Tarte Love, Trust & Fairy Dust palette. It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Tarte’s products and the palettes I already have from them are regularly used.
Not only is the packaging stunning, but there’s lots of pretty pink and gold shades in this palette, which are the colours I reach for most.
Bath & Body Works Pumpkin Donut Shop and Caramel Apple Candles
Bath & Body Works do my absolute favourite candles, as they’re beautifully designed and scent the whole house.
Pumpkin Donut Shop smells like baked goods; (more like maple syrup pancakes than doughnuts) and is my favourite of the two. Caramel Apple smells just as it’s described. I have loved burning these the past few weeks and I can’t wait for the Christmas collection.
So that’s my October Favourites. Let me know what you’ve been loving lately.
