The Body Shop Advent Calendar-Days 15-19

It’s now less than a week ’til Christmas and I’m most of the way through my advent calendar. So here’s a look at what I got the past few days.

Day Fifteen

On day fifteen I got a Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm. I much prefer this sheer balm to The Body Shops lip butters, as this leaves lips with a glossy finish, whilst the butters are a thick, white cream. As my lips have been very dry lately, this lip balm is a very welcome addition.

Day Sixteen

Next up, I received the Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter. I mentioned in a previous post that I tend to avoid nut based products due to an allergy but that my skin is fine with some products. I tested this cream out on a patch of skin and it seemed fine, so I’ll be keeping this.

Day Seventeen

Uh-oh! I fully expected to get another Brow & Lash Brush & Comb! I already have several of these stuffed in drawers, as The Body Shop include them in their calendars every year. This is a well made product, but it’s just something I rarely ever use.

Day Eighteen

Yesterday I got a Shea Hand Cream. You can never have too many hand creams and I really like the rich smell of shea products.

Day Nineteen

So today I probably got the least exciting item so far; eyelash curlers! Again, The Body Shop includes these in the calendar every year. I never use eyelash curlers, so I’ll potentially save these to include in a giveaway or give them to a friend.

So that’s everything I got the past few days. Let me know what goodies you’ve got from your calendars lately.

    • It does smell really nice. It leaves lips really shiny too and with a bit of a tint😊 I really like their hand creams. I can’t remember which one I used to buy, but I’ve always liked their Shea products😊 xx
