December Favourites

December was a month full of highs and lows, but I still discovered some new favourites. So here’s what I loved last month.

Christmas Trips to Copenhagen & Bruges

In December we went on two festive breaks. We spent a couple of days in Bruges which is one of our favourite small cities, as it’s stunning all year round.

We also visited the wonderful city of Copenhagen for the first time and it was magical at Christmas time. Tivoli (amusement park) and other parts of the city were illuminated and gorgeous.

Christmas Bed Sheets

I didn’t decorate the house or go particularly Christmassy in December as my grandad passed away, but my partner did pick up these cute santa and his elves bed sheets as he knew I liked them.

Not only are they super soft and thick material, but they’re also really cute.

Wagamama’s & Pizza Express

December was the month where I finally tried the Vegan Giardiniera pizza at Pizza Express and it was worth the wait! The cheese they use is just perfection.

I also really got into Wagamama’s. The Kare Burosu (ramen), the Katsu (curry) and the Bao Buns are currently some of my favourite things to eat.

Gifts from Chanelle

The lovelyhttp://chanellehayleyyy.wordpress.com sent me a parcel in November and I’ve been using the beauty bits she sent me loads.

The gorgeous Shaaanxo Highlight Powder in Lucent is finely milled and a natural highlight, whilst the Revolution Blush Palette in Golden Sugar has a variety of shades and can be used as a blush, bronzer, highlighter or eyeshadow.

ColourPop Bobbidi & Boo Lipglosses

My partner ordered me some ColourPop makeup as an anniversary gift a few months back and I love the two lipglosses he got me. Bobbidi and Boo are from the Disney collection and Bobbidi is a coral, whilst Boo is a mauvey pink.

Let me know what you’ve been loving lately.

  1. This post made me miss Christmas so much! I’ve been to both Belgium and Copenhagen during Christmas time too and they are beautiful, hoping to go back to Belgium again soon. Also, that pizza looks amazing. 😋 I’m really sorry about your grandad, can’t imagine how painful it must be, I hope January is a happier month for you. ❤️

  2. Aww you’re so cute! I’m glad you love the beauty bits I sent you 😀 I ended up buying Lucent too and it is so pretty, a little similar to Mary-Lou Manizer from theBalm but more gold and not quite as gold as Opal by Becca. I don’t know why Christmas bedding isn’t more of a thing! x

      • You’re welcome!!
Yes I’ve heard the best times to go are definitely the Winter-y times (not necessarily Christmas but Winter in general because it’s like a fairy tale, sounds so pretty! I’m glad you got to visit for the first time at the time you wanted 🙂 x
