Way back in August, I celebrated turning the big 3-0! For my birthday I went on the most amazing holiday to Cappadocia in Turkey, which was one of my presents from my partner (posts about the trip coming soon). But I also received lots of thoughtful gifts, so here’s a look at what I got.
From My Parents & Brother
Both of my parent’s gifted me money but my mum also got me some cute 30th birthday keepsakes, such as this wine glass and photo frame.
My brother chose me a 30th birthday candle and two sets of pyjamas as he knows I love getting pjs as gifts!
From My Partner’s Parents & His Brother
From my partner’s brother, I got a gift voucher for a spa day for two people.
And from my partner’s parents I got a Lush voucher and a gorgeous pair of huggie style earrings from Olivia Burton.
From My Partner
My partner also got me a set of Olivia Burton earrings (seen above). He chose an adorable bumble bee set with my birthstone set into them.
He also got me:
A handmade necklace and bracelet in Turkey.
Two pairs of sunglasses from River Island.
As well as two handbags I never got ’round to photographing!
A beautiful handmade dress from Bacanara Fashion in London.
The detailing is stunning.
A gorgeous dress that I wore on my birthday from Dorothy Perkins.
Lots of bath bits from Lush and Soap & Glory (not all of it is pictured).
A Hydrate Mate water bottle as mine broke.
A lovely vintage style jewellery box with an engraving for my 30th.
And my partner also adopted Archie the orangutan for me. In July we travelled to Borneo as I’d always wanted to see the orangutans, so my adoption helps fund Archie’s care until he’s released back into the wild.
I got a certificate, photos and a cute orangutan teddy. Definitely one of my favourite gifts as I know it’ll help support the work they do at Sepilok.
And finally, my partner arranged a very special day for me in Turkey.
I wont give too much away, but it was the best birthday I’ve ever had!
