A bit of a belated post as it’s already the 18th December, but I wanted to share with you how I got on in November.
1-Eat Healthy & Exercise
Achieved! In November we ate out less and had lots of delicious, home cooked meals.
I also had more free time, so I added in an extra gym session per week.
2-Read More
I only managed to read one book as the month was all over the place! I read:
-In Order to Live by Yeonmi Parks
I really enjoyed this book but it was tough reading as it’s so intense. Yeonmi talks about growing up in North Korea and her difficult escape to freedom. She’s such a brave, honest person that I really felt for her after all she’s been through.
Would I recommend? Yes.
3-Do 2 New Things Per Month
I went to see the Olafur Eliasson exhibition at the Tate Modern.
Saw the Christmas lights at Carnaby Street and Regent Street.
Went to see Tottenham play a football match at their new stadium.
And much more.
4-Travel/Go For Days Out
November was full of days out. I met three different friends for drinks or to see art exhibitions.
I went for a solo day out to the British Museum in London.
And me and my partner went to a Christmas Market along South Bank, London.
5-Save Money
So this one is tricky. There’s been things I’ve had to buy for both birthdays and Christmas, but I think I did a good job of reigning in my spending and not going too crazy.
I was made redundant from my job as the company was struggling financially as well. They offered to keep me on, but they couldn’t promise me set hours, days or the same level of pay, so I left. Of course, that made it harder to save.
6-Use My Phone Less
This has been a total failure. I’ve used my phone lots for social media, blogging and job related things. I do feel like I’ve been on it constantly and it’s not been healthy, so I need to do better with this resolution.
Let me know how you’re getting on with your new year’s resolutions.
Sorry to hear you were made redundant, hope you won’t let it get to you! I’m sure something else will come along soon, enjoy having a bit of a break though and taking time for you xx

Thanks hun. It’s a bit of a rubbish time of year for it but it’s okay. In November I helped do catering for a few events but I’ve been busier this month, been doing 1 on 1 work with kids in schools😊 Hopefully something permanent will come up soon xx
