There’s only five days ’til Christmas and tomorrow I fly to New York! It’s all come around so quickly but I’m very excited this year. So here’s a look at what I got in my calendar this week.
On day sixteen I got a mini bottle of Molton Brown Fiery Pink Pepper shower gel. This seems to be a bit of a favourite item to include in beauty calendars and boxes as I’ve had it before.
Whilst it’s not a scent I would go out of my way to buy, I always enjoy it as an inclusion as it’s different to my usual tastes.
On day seventeen I received an Emma Hardie Moisture Boost Vit+C Cream. Whilst I am a little disappointed that this is the third face cream included in the calendar, this one does sound very good!
It promises to minimise dark spots and pigmentation, tackle the early signs of ageing and protect skin from sun damage and pollution.
On day eighteen I opened up my calendar to find a Neal’s Yard Remedies Wild Rose Hand Cream. I’ve never tried any Neal’s Yard products so I’m looking forward to trying this, especially as my hands are starting to get dry from winter.
Yesterday I got a Bioeffect EGF Serum. This serum uses a plant-based copy of EGF (a naturally occuring human protein) to reduce the appearance of fine lines, age spots, wrinkles, pores and sun damage. This is a seriously pricey product at £125 for 15ml (the sample I got is 5ml) so I’m excited to see if it lives up to expectations.
And finally, today I got an Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara. I am a huge mascara fan so I’m always delighted to have a new one to try out. I’ve looked at Eyeko mascaras many times before and never purchased one, so now I finally get to try one out.
So I think it’s been a pretty great week of gifts! There’s lots of good brands, the value of the products is high and there’s been a nice variety of shower, skin and makeup items too. Let me know your favourite product.
