I imagine that Easter was a different experience for everyone this year.
Whilst we was limited in what we could do, I still really enjoyed the long weekend. My partner and I were both off for Easter, so we made the most of our extra time together.
So here’s a look at what we got up to.
Good Friday
On Good Friday we decided to go food shopping and I can tell you now the supermarkets were crazy, so we was out for quite some time!
After arriving back home we had veggie sausage bagels and hash browns as a late breakfast.
In the afternoon we went for a walk, did a HIIT session at home then decorated these delicious vegan doughnuts from Doughnut Time.
They was a bit of a pricey treat, but decorating them was a fun Easter activity and they tasted amazing.
After eating two big doughnuts each, we decided to skip dinner and caught up on some TV shows such as Norwegian drama ‘Twin’.
Saturday
On Saturday we got up early to do another HIIT session at home, before going to our local park for a walk.
The park’s full of squirrels so we had a lot of fun feeding them.
Once we got home I had a pampering session. I painted my nails for the first time in a year or so, used body creams, oils, and a face mask. I felt amazing after.
As the weather was sunny and warm we had a barbeque with veggie burgers, hotdogs and we also toasted marshmallows. It was lovely.
Easter Sunday
On Easter Sunday we exchanged Easter Eggs and cards. My partner ate one of his eggs the second he got it, but I still haven’t started on mine yet!
We also bought a bunch of roses to decorate the table and make it feel more like springtime.
As the weather was still nice, we went to the park for another walk.
Then it was time for a roast! We made our first ever vegan roast dinner, including homemade Yorkshire Puddings (which tasted more like scones!). It was delicious.
Monday
On the Bank Holiday Monday we went for a walk, did a HIIT session and watched some TV.
We made a recipe we saw on Niomi Smarts YouTube, which is Tuscan Pasta.
It was delicious, flavoursome and packed full of vegetables. It’s one of our new favourite meals.
So that’s our Easter. What did you get up to?
Beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like a pleasant Easter minus the hours at the supermarket, you poor thing! Mum and I have been doing click and collect for our groceries as asthmatics are at risk and we don’t want to risk going out if we don’t have to. Those creme egg donuts look so good! The roses are beautiful too! Love your little gold necklace, where’s it from? xx

Aaw the supermarkets are a nightmare there’s no option for delivery or click and collect anymore. It’s just too busy! Plus we have to go a few shops as places are short on fresh fruit and veg etc. The doughnuts were so nice, we’ve ordered a biscoff pack to decorate😍 It’s from Missoma😊 xx

Aww that’s a shame about the supermarkets no longer offering those services. How many donuts come in a pack? It’s a really pretty necklace 💕
