As I shared last week, my partner kindly made me an advent calendar this year as I wasn’t in love with any that you could buy. He’s wrapped up and included a gift every other day, so here’s what I got from day 9 to day 17.
Day 9- Joe & Seph’s Coconut & Cacao Popcorn
I knew there had to be food included somewhere in the calendar! Joe & Seph’s is a well known UK company that sell an assortment of flavoured popcorn. I didn’t realise they now do vegan options so I was pretty delighted with this!
Day 11- Natural Extracts Lip Balm Set
I’ve mentioned it on my blog many a time, but there’s nothing I hate more than dry lips. I even keep a lip balm under my pillow! At the moment my lips are extra dry as I recover from illness so I’m excited to use these, especially the oatmeal & shea balm.
Day 13- Caffe Nero Stem Ginger Biscuits
One day when me and my partner was out, we grabbed a hot chocolate and these biscuits from Caffe Nero and I’ve been a bit obsessed ever since! They’re just the perfect winter biscuit as they pack a strong, warm, ginger flavour.
Day 14- Wagamamas Gift Card
So this gift card for Wagamamas restaurant was supposed to be day 17 in my calendar, but as it was announced London would be moving into tier 3 and restaurants would be closing, my partner gave it to me early!
We managed to go out to eat on the last night before the restaurants shut so I’m really glad he gave this to me early.
Day 15- Natasha Denona Bronze Palette
Day 15 was a very big gift indeed, a Natasha Denona palette! I tried to purchase this palette just before the November lockdown in H Beauty, but it was sold out! I love the look of this palette as it’s full of warm gold and bronze shades which are my favourites.
Day 17- Elf Lip Gloss in Mauve Glitz & Iconic Brow Silk Kit
Yesterday I got a pretty, shimmery lip gloss from Elf which I’m excited to try and a brow product from Iconic. I’ve seen the Iconic Brow Silk a lot on social media; you smooth and fluff your brows up using the brush and gel so I’m very happy with day 17s goodies.
