Chantecaille always releases beautiful offerings and their current spring collection is no different.
Featuring the Butterfly Eye Quartet and the Lip Chic lipstick in three shades, this Butterfly themed collection supports the Xerces Society; a non-profit organisation that protects wildlife through conservation of invertebrates and their habitats.
So let’s take a look at the products!
The Butterfly Eye Quartet
This quad features four eyeshadows:
Shade one-A taupe with a satin finish
Shade two-A triple chrome with pink, green and gold pearl
Shade three-A shimmering peach
Shade four-A rose gold with satin finish
All four shadows perform beautifully and are smooth and pigmented. The star of the show is undoubtably the green as it has such a beautiful pink and gold shift.
A look I created using all four shades. This is a great every day palette, yet the green adds a special pop of colour.
Now on to the lipsticks!
There are three shades; Peach Blossom, Clover and Hyssop. I have the first two shades which I’ve swatched below.
Peach Blossom is a warm peach (which I’m wearing in the photos above).
Clover is a neutral pink.
The shade I don’t have; Hyssop is described as a rich nude but to me it has a soft berry tone.
Chantecaille’s Lip Chics have a lovely glossy formula. They feel creamy, smooth, hydrating and they have a good level of pigmentation.
Chantecaille is Cruelty-Free, Vegan and free of nasties. It also gives back to animal charities.
